So true. Too many Dems are making a categorical error. Maybe if Nancy Pelosi had said "working families", say, 10,000 times less, they would realize it is about culture and society.

Couldn't agree more. The Democratic Party in general is NOT rising to this occasion. I'm a NJ resident and was proud of our Senator, Cory Booker, for his filibuster. But then he went ahead and voted yes for Charles Kushner, a convicted felon and the father of Trump's son-in-law, to become Ambassador to France. I hate to admit it but the NJ Democratic machine isn't that different from Trump's acolytes in the way they shut down opposition. Last time Trump was contained by the country's checks and balances. This time there are no guardrails, as Kamala warned us. We must fight back with everything we have.
