Trump’s Plot Against America is for real, as you have articulated. It’s been going on for a long time. Two speeches stand out---the golden escalator attack on on immigrants, and his inauguration address in which he set his America First on its path of bigotry, violence, and dehumanization. I observed, as many Americans did, his fascist behavior and in case I published my observations in The Trump Files. Thank you for your important remarks on this dangerous man. I don’t know if you’ve read Germany 1923, but America in 2023 is repeating some aspects of Germany 1923
I agree every single voter should be responsible and vote Dem, but that ain't going to make it happen. My personal observations indicate that the kids under forty hate Biden. That's a problem and not one that can he addressed by trashing Trump. I don't understand your remark about how the youth vote doesn't make a difference. In a race that could be decided by 10,000 votes every vote matters. Young and BIPOC are going to stay home in unfortunate numbers unless the Dems address their concerns. Greenlighting the slaughter of Gazan children and allowing a war to erupt in the Midfle East is going to make Biden even more unpopular. The Dems should meet in secret about running Newsom instead of Biden. I think Biden is a great prez by standard metrics, but he's now the proud sponsor of mass murder in Gaza -- without a peace proposal! -- open ended war -- and horrifically unpopular. We should explore all options. Defeat Trump at almost any cost, preferably not by killing another 20,000 kids in Gaza.
Trump is the gravest threat to America since the Civil War. I have nothing to say in his favor. I think the task now is not so much to articulate that danger but to get out the Democratic vote and resolve the troubles that could tamp it down. Rightly or wrongly, young adults don't love Biden the way we do. People of Color, including Black males, Latinos, and Muslims, are turni.g their backs on the Democratic Party in worrying nimbers. Third party candidates pose a threat. These challenges must be engaged, publicly or behind the scenes. If Biden loses next year, it will be because these internal issues were not addressed, not because Dems didn't scream loud enough about the menace of Trump. Now that Biden is joined at the hip with the Gaza invasion, there's is a lot at risk for him, i.e. a Middle East war and the blood of thousands of Gazan kids, which could alienate huge numbers of Americans, however great he's been in other ways. The Dems have to right its own ship to win. Kvetching about Trump excessively without addressing weaknesses in the base will alienate younger voters.
Young voters are surely important, but also wildly overrated. They've turned zero elections in our lifetimes. And of course, the young Obama voters are now middle-aged voters. I agree there needs to be a strong message for them - and look, the onus is also on voters to be smart and care about their country. A political party is in far less control than the pundits and insiders make it seem.

Prescient, unfortunately.
